everything about the hotel was beyond good. Francesco, the hotel front desk agent, who checked us in, was one of the nicest people i've ever met. He made sure to tell us everything about Rome in our native language (portuguese), making a suitable guide for our 2 days stay. For dinner, he recommended us a traditional italian restaurant, where we had one of the best meals of our lives for a really good price. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean. The breakfast, which we payed separately (6 eur) was really good, with several options and amazing italian pastries. The hotel is close to the Colesseu (about 10 minutes walking) and a little further from the other attractions. There is a bus stop right across the street. I would recommend Hotel Valeri to all my friends and family, and would definitely stay there again.

Very close to all attractions. Great breakfast. Good value for money. Great staff, warm welcoming and would do any thing to make you comfortable. Thanks to Apu and Sarka. Special thanks and great fullness to Francisco who made out an experience of every moment. Ask Francisco for the “holy map”, will make Rome attractions handy and easy accessible.

Staff was extremely helpful. We needed to book another night but the hotel was booked. The manager helped us to secure a booking at another hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel Valeri for our overnight in Rome. The location was perfect for what we wanted--away from the major traffic but VERY close (within walking distance) to both the Colosseum and Baths of Caracalla. The staff was the best! While we got there too early for check-in, Sarka (the woman working the front desk when we arrived) had given me a cup of coffee and mapped locations to all the local attractions and restaurants within walking distance (as well as bus routes) within ten minutes of our arrival. Plus, they held our luggage while we spent the entire day at the Colosseum, not getting back to the hotel until after 7 pm. The bed was large--Francesco had arranged for a king size upgrade beforehand--and comfortable. The electric window screens blocked out the morning light nicely as well as some of the traffic noise (Italians like their car horns!). All in all, the neighborhood seemed safe and relatively quiet.

Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions to sites and restaurants in the area. we had to check out almost two hours earlier than standard breakfast time. They still set up a very nice breakfast for our party!
